2016 NFL Draft Daniel Lasco

Boasting insane athleticism, Lasco led Shrine Bowl participants with 52 yards on just three carries, displaying to scouts the breakaway speed that made him so lethal in college.

Lasco offers some of the best initial burst and quickness of the 2016 NFL Draft running back class. And here’s the thing: he could stand to add another 10 pounds or so to his 6-foot frame and it wouldn’t hinder that speed, only making him more of a threatening ball carrier in the NFL.

Here’s a look at Lasco’s highlights:

When he’s not taking handoffs, Lasco does a good job in pass protection, squaring up blitzes. He also holds his own as a downfield blocker.

While certainly not the top running back prospect on this list, Lasco should still be on the Patriots’ radar in the 2016 NFL Draft.
