3. Justin Coleman

Coleman takes the No. 3 spot because he was the best nickel corner the Patriots used in 2015, better than veteran Leonard Johnson and certainly better than Melvin as was mentioned previously.

What also separates Coleman from the pack was his outstanding performance in the playoffs. He broke up a pass in the Divisional Round as well as the AFC Championship.

In the regular season, Coleman started two of 10 appearances, recording 17 tackles and five passes defended.

The Patriots really missed Coleman while he was out with a head injury for the final month of the regular season. Having tendered Coleman earlier this month, the Patriots intend to keep Coleman around for 2016, so the opportunity is there for Coleman to really take his sophomore season by the horns.
