1. Julian Edelman

No surprise here. Not only is Edelman the top dog in the Patriots’ wide receiver depth chart, but he is also one of the best players in the league in general.

As is always the case with a truly great player, we learned how vital Edelman is to the Patriots’ offensive health during his absence. The passing game just wasn’t the same as Edelman nursed that broken foot for the playoffs.

Despite missing nearly half of the regular season, Edelman recorded a career-high seven touchdowns before tweaking his foot in the thrilling win over the New York Giants. At this point, we’re used to Edelman surpassing expectations.

The addition of Bennett only means good things for Edelman, as the two-tight end sets will open up space for him to operate.
