1. Stefen Wiskniewski

Quite possibly the best offensive lineman still on the board, Wisniewski will be signed sooner rather than later by somebody. But the Patriots won’t be that team.

The Patriots have the unusual luxury of having two starting-caliber centers on their roster. It’s a great thing.

MUST-READ: Fairley visits with Pats, should be signed immediately

There’s Bryan Stork, who captained Florida State to a national championship in 2013 before taking the reins as the Patriots’ starter in the Super Bowl season of 2014. And then there’s 2015 undrafted signing David Andrews out of Georgia, who filled-in for Stork at the beginning of 2015. Even when Stork returned from PUP list in Week 7, the Pats still gave Andrews snaps.

There simply isn’t a need for Wisniewski in New England, and he would also command a ton of cap room. Look for a team like the San Diego Chargers to pursue the 2011 second round pick of the Raiders. Last week, our pal Travis Wakeman over at BoltBeat lobbied for his team to sign Wisniewski.
