#4 Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots 2012-13 AFC Championship Game
13. 47. 28. 26. Final
After knocking off the #1 seeded Denver Broncos, the Baltimore Ravens traveled to Foxboro looking to take on the Patriots. Without TE Rob Gronkowski, this offense was not as explosive as it could’ve been, but they were still able to move the ball on offense.
Having a 13-7 led in first half (lost their opportunity to put up 17 instead of 13 due to bad clock management), and losing CB Aqib Talib, it seemed the Patriots were still in decent shape to win this game.
But the Patriots’ offense was completely shut out the second half, and the Ravens offense’ drove down field consistently with ease.
Raven’s QB Joe Flacco threw for 240 yards and 3 TDs and the Ravens went on to the Super Bowl, where they won, and upset the Patriots at home for the 2nd time in 4 years.
