Surely, you’ve heard by now that the New England Patriots have parted ways with veteran wide receiver Brandon LaFell. This news marks the end of LaFell’s two-year stint in New England, and we’re bummed to see him go, even if he was inconsistent in 2015.

LaFell was a revelation for the offense in 2014, producing a stat line of 74 receptions, 953 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season. In fact, it was LaFell’s career year that allowed Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski to have so much success in that super season.

To pay tribute to LaFell for his efforts wearing Patriot blue, here are our five favorite memories of him in New England. As a result of his drop-plagued, touchdown-less campaign in 2015, you won’t see any moments from this past season.
