As the onset of New England Patriots free agency fast approaches, here is another angle on the impending frenzy: six signing possibilities under the age of 25. All of these players have plenty of gas in the tank and could help the Patriots win in 2016 and beyond. Enjoy.

6. Rueben Randle (24)

The general belief surrounding New York Giants camp is that Randle will not be back in 2016. Big Blue is fed-up with their underperforming second-round pick.

MUST-READ: A free agent from each team the Patriots would love to sign

That being said, Randle still offers plenty of upside with his athleticism and decent track record through four NFL seasons. He comes from the LSU pipeline of pro wideouts, one of the best collegiate programs in the country when it comes to grooming top-notch pass catchers.

The Giants expected a lot out of Randle, maybe too much. Although he didn’t emerge as the lethal outside threat the G-Men wanted him to be, Randle still caught 128 passes for 1,735 yards and 11 touchdowns over the past two seasons. Not too shabby.

Randle would come at a price, but again, at just age 24 he has a ton of good football left in him. Who knows, maybe he will replace fellow LSU product Brandon LaFell in the Patriots’ receiving corps.
