Tight end

  1. Ladarius Green
  2. Benjamin Watson
  3. Coby Fleener

Occupying the top of this list is one of the more promising young players in the NFL today, San Diego Chargers tight end Green. A career season of 37 receptions, 429 yards, 11.4 yards per catch and four touchdowns has the Chargers scrambling to retain one of their most valuable assets, especially considering Antonio Gates’ age.

Despite turning 35 in December, Watson also put forth a career year with 74 receptions, 825 yards and six touchdowns. Clearly, he’s drinking from a fountain of youth and should find an employer this offseason. Watson was featured in our list of six players over 30 who the Patriots may consider in 2016 NFL free agency.

As for Fleener, his 6-foot-6 stature and consistency (at least 50 receptions over the last three seasons) will make him an attractive target for somebody.

Honorable mention: Antonio Gates, Logan Paulsen
