2016 NFL Free Agency All-Star Team

We’ve been doing a bunch of New England Patriots-related free agency items recently, but this morning, we’re zooming out. Here is the 2016 NFL free agency all-star team with Patriots context where it’s applicable. Enjoy.

Quarterbacks

  1. Brock Osweiler
  2. Kirk Cousins

If you had to start a team from scratch and could only choose from the 2016 NFL free agency crop of quarterbacks, these two quarterbacks would be your best choices, with Osweiler nudging Cousins on account of his higher ceiling.

First off, at 6-foot-7 (some places he’s listed at 6-foot-8), Osweiler is a monster of a quarterback. He towers above the warfare in the trenches, scanning the field with ease. In action last season, Osweiler aided the Denver Broncos by completing 61.8 percent of his passes for 1,967 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Cousins also offers promise as a starting quarterback for years to come, and it looks like he has officially uprooted Robert Griffin III as the face of the Washington Redskins.

Honorable mention: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Sam Bradford
