The Patriots running back situation is not pretty. Two of their few free agents (Blount, Develin) are set to hit the market. Likely Develin, an underrated fullback, will be kept as losing him prior to the regular season dented a lot of the Patriots run game. However, it’s unclear whether the Patriots will re-sign Blount, as he hasn’t made a real impact since returning to Foxborough.
