6. Concussion issue

In case you haven’t heard, the NFL is dealing with a public relations issue that will only continue to rear its head as former stars can’t remember the name of their spouse. Last week, Antwan Randle El was the latest retired player to speak of the physical problems he’s dealing with as a result of his football career.

Here’s a very simple way for the NFL to quiet the noise a bit, especially in the wake of the Will Smith movie dramatizing the concussion issue: eliminate the Pro Bowl. Just think about it. The Pro Bowl is as unnecessary as Vontaze Burfict’s hit on Antonio Brown in the Wild Card Round. Why put the league’s best players in harm’s way for no reason at all?

The NFL will have to no one to blame but themselves if Odell Beckham Jr. or another star player suffers a concussion in this game.
