Kickoff between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship is inching closer and closer. Calm your nerves a bit by taking a look at these four reasons to be excited for the showdown at Sports Authority Field.

4. Health

As Musket FIre’s Cyrus Geller elaborated on yesterday, this is the healthiest the Patriots have been in quite some time. This is exactly what Patriots fans were hoping for, as at this time of year, it’s usually the healthier team that prevails and advances.

Perhaps most encouraging was the fact that Dont’a Hightower, Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins all practiced this week, even if it was in limited fashion.

Hightower’s pesky knee injury doesn’t seem to be standing in his way; Jones tweaked his knee in the Divisional Round, but the practice report listed minor abdomen and toe ailments; Collins was the most worrying situation this week, but it seems like he is in good position to play on Sunday.

On the other side of the ball, the Patriots will have Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola up and ready to go for just the second time since Week 11. That alone is cause for excitement.
