We’re about 48 hours away from kickoff between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos in the 2015 AFC Championship Game. To help pass the time until the showdown, join us as we go out on a limb and make six bold predictions for the rights to represent the AFC in Super Bowl 50.

6. Devin McCourty pick-six

One of the vocal leaders of this Patriots team, McCourty carries a 5-1 career record against the Broncos into the AFC Championship Game. He’ll look to add a sixth win on Sunday afternoon.

Look, McCourty is about due for an interception. He hasn’t gotten his mitts on a ball in four months—Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars was McCourty’s lone interception of the 2015 season.

6 Sources of worry for Patriots in AFC Championship Game

McCourty made a big play in the 2014 postseason when he picked off Joe Flacco in the Divisional Round, so he’s no stranger to coming up huge in the playoffs. Look for him to make it two postseasons in a row with a game-changing interception.

To boot, D-Mac has never returned an interception for a touchdown. He brought one back to the house against the San Diego Chargers last year, but the play was wiped out due to Brandon Browner destroying LaDarius Green.
