The most recent of Gronk’s encounters with the Broncos was also the scariest. After crossing the goal line and racking up 88 yards, Gronk was on the receiving end of a nasty low blow dealt by Darian Stewart. As Patriots nation held their collective breath, Gronk writhed on the ground in evident pain.

Luckily, Gronk avoided a serious knee injury and was back in action two weeks later. But in the moment, it looked like the Patriots had lost more than just their perfect record.
Hopefully, Chris Harris Jr. and the rest of the Denver defense don’t put such a scare in us Patriots fans again by whacking Gronk low on Sunday.
Here’s to Gronk running train on the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. He’s the second-most valuable player on the Patriots’ roster, so he’s the second-most influential in terms of the Pats’ winning chances.
