In his 15 completed seasons in the NFL, Tom Brady has seen it all. He has started 29 playoff games, which means that if this postseason goes according to plan, Brady will have played two additional 16-game seasons in the playoffs. That’s something.

11 of those 29 playoff starts have come in the Divisional Round. 2002, 2008 and 2009 were the only years since Brady took over as the starter that the Patriots haven’t reached the Divisional Round.

2002 was that tumultuous season sandwiched between the super seasons of 2001 and 2003 in which the Patriots finished 9-7 in a three-way tie with the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, missing out on the playoffs.

2008 saw Matt Cassel assume starting duties for an injured Brady. Although the Pats finished 11-5, they missed out on January play.

The following season, the Patriots got spanked in the Wild Card Round by the Baltimore Ravens.

But other than those three years, Brady and the Patriots have always reached the Divisional Round. They are also accustomed to winning once they get to the NFL’s elite eight; Brady is 9-2 in those 11 career Divisional Round games.

To refresh your memory, we’re going to relive all 11 of those Divisional Round games in chronological order. Enjoy.
