Tom Brady: Career history against the Kansas City Chiefs
5. Week 11, 2004 – Patriots 27, Chiefs 19
Brady was extremely efficient in this game, posting the second-highest quarterback rating (119.9) of his season. He connected on 17 of his 26 throws for 315 yards, a touchdown and no picks.
Deion Branch was the star in this game, snagging six of Brady’s passes for 105 yards and a 26-yard touchdown. Also playing well was Daniel Graham, who caught three passes for 83 yards including a 48-yard reception.
As was often the case in 2004, the Patriots were powered in this game more by Clock-Killin Corey Dillon’s legs rather than Brady’s right arm. Dillon received a work load of 26 carries from which he churned out 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
This game marked the third consecutive win in a six-game win streak for Brady and the Patriots in the latter half of the 2004 regular season.
