The only AFC team with a 5-8 record that has a shot at January is the Jaguars, and that’s because the AFC South is as competitive as a charity golf tournament.</p> <p>The last time these teams met, back in the 2011 season, the Giants dealt the Dolphins their seventh consecutive loss of the season. For the Dolphins to exact revenge, they must take advantage of the Giants’ terrible pass defense, a unit that ranks dead-last in the league surrendering 315 yards per game.</p> <p>In Week 15, the Dolphins travel to San Diego, a winnable game if there ever was one.
