Philip Rivers completed just 18 of his 35 passes, and the offense as a whole generated under 300 yards.</p> <p>Perhaps the only fun moment for Chargers fans on Sunday was Jason Verrett’s red zone interception, the second interception of the sophomore pro’s season and third overall since being drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.</p> <p>To avoid finishing 3-13 and putting Mike McCoy’s future in serious doubt, the Chargers will have to defeat one of the following teams this month: Kansas City, Miami, Oakland and Denver.
