4. Tom Brady will torch Byron Maxwell

Apparently, losing to Brady in Super Bowl XLIX didn’t teach Maxwell that No. 12 is arguably the best quarterback in NFL history, as the cornerback told the media this week that Sam Bradford is the best passer in the game, not TB12. Interesting.

Brady will make Maxwell look like a fool in this game by targeting the former Seahawk early and often. Remember, we’re talking about a player who performed a deflation test of a Brady-thrown ball in Super Bowl XLIX.

Analysis: Comparing loss to Broncos with 2014 loss to Packers

Brandon LaFell will be the beneficiary of Brady’s focus on Maxwell, shrugging off his sleepy 36-yard performance in Week 12. LaFell will factor in into this game much like he did against another NFC East opponent, Washington, four weeks ago. In that interconference showdown, LaFell notched 102 yards on five receptions, leading the way for the Patriots in the air.

Fantasy football owners should throw LaFell into their flex. This will be the sixth-year veteran’s breakout performance of 2015 as a result of a 115-yard, two-touchdown stat line.
