14. player. 13. <p>The Chargers pulled themselves out of the cellar of the AFC in Week 12 by notching their first victory since October 4<sup>th</sup>. Philip Rivers registered a clean 300-yard, four-touchdown day, five Chargers caught at least four passes and Manti Te’o made his best play of the season by picking-off Blake Bortles with one hand.</p> <p>The win hushed the Mike McCoy firing rumors, if only for a week. If the Chargers can manage to play the role of spoiler to AFC West foes Denver and Kansas City in the next two weeks, then McCoy’s job security will be that much better.</p> <p>One of the major disappointments of the Chargers’ season has to be Melvin Gordon’s 3.6 yards per carry average. The Chargers must provide better run blockers on the offensive line for Gordon next season, as he is a dangerous runner when given a chance.</p>. AFC West. 3-8. San Diego Chargers
