1. Pats will shutout Broncos in second half

The first few quarters of this game will be characterized by Vernon Davis reaching the end zone twice for the Broncos, and Blount and LaFell each scoring for the Pats. The halftime score will read 17-17, and NBC will be jazzed that they got to cover such a tight game featuring Brady against the coming-of-age Osweiler.

But the Patriots will absolutely run show in the second half. Blount and LaFell will each score again, and any hope of a Denver comeback will be eliminated by Butler’s pick-six. After consecutive weeks of nail-biting finishes, the Patriots will get back to their routing ways by winning this game by a score of 38-14.

Contributing the most to the second-half shutout will be Chandler Jones and Jabaal Sheard, who will each record drive-stopping sacks that will force the Broncos to keep punting. Jones will retake the NFL sacks lead by registering two total takedowns on the day.
