5. Vernon Davis will score all of Denver’s touchdowns

Since joining the Broncos, Davis has accumulated 87 yards on eight receptions. He’s still looking for his first touchdown catch, but it won’t be long.

The Broncos aren’t going to score a ton of points in this game, but they will owe both touchdown scores to Davis. Malcolm Butler will silence Demaryius Thomas, and Emmanuel Sanders will be held in check for the most part, but the Patriots won’t have an immediate answer for Davis, as the veteran is too fast for any of the Patriots’ linebackers to cover (assuming Jamie Collins doesn’t play). Davis is going to be the main problem for the Patriots’ defense, especially closer to the goal line.

Patrick Chung will have his turn at covering Davis, and it will be a back-and-forth matchup. Davis will get the better of Chung and the Pats’ linebackers by racking up 60 yards on five receptions, with two touchdowns to boot.
