Houston Texans
AFC South, 5-5
It’s always nice when your stars get on a hot streak. The Texans have benefitted immensely from the play of J.J. Watt as of late; Watt has recorded 7.5 sacks in the past four games, and he’s been just as effectively as a run defender as he has a pass rusher. On the other side of the ball, DeAndre Hopkins continues to bail-out whoever is playing quarterback for the Texans—he passed the 1,000-yard mark in Week 11 with another 100-yard game, his fifth of the season.
Following an intriguing inter-conference game against the Saints, the Texans must gear-up for a huge AFC encounter with the Bills before playing host to the undefeated Patriots. Remember, all the Texans have to do is keep pace with the Matt Hasselbeck-led Colts in the AFC South, so even a 9-7 record could win them the division.
