2. Karlos Williams will account for all of Bills’ touchdowns

Patriots fans who watched games in the late 1990s will remember the Robert Edwards story. Edwards set a rookie record by scoring a touchdown in his first six games as a pro. The feat catapulted him to a rookie beach flag football event as part of the 1998 Pro Bowl festivities, where he tragically suffered a very severe knee injury that altered the course of his career.

On Monday night, standout rookie running back Karlos Williams has the chance to break Edwards’ record. Williams won’t just score a touchdown for the seventh straight game of his young career. He will shatter the record by being responsible for all three of the Bills’ touchdowns.

The Patriots’ defense will have a very solid day overall thanks to the interceptions by Collins and McCourty, but Williams will be the thorn in their side. Williams will factor more prominently into the rushing attack than LeSean McCoy as a result of his bruising running style. The Florida State product is leading the NFL with a soaring 6.2 yards per carry average, a full yard and a half more than McCoy.
