Patriots vs. Bills: 6 Bold Predictions

3. Devin McCourty will rebound from Giants game with a pair of interceptions
Odell Beckhamr Jr. drew first blood in his matchup against Malcolm Butler when he snuck by the Super Bowl hero, making a tremendous full-extension grab and dodging McCourty with ease immediately after, resulting in an 87-yard touchdown. However, the blame for the play doesn’t rest on Butler’s shoulders, as McCourty could not have played it any worse.
Look for McCourty to respond after one of the worst mistakes he’s committed in quite some time against the Bills. Interestingly, McCourty has more interceptions (four) in games involving Buffalo than he has against any other team. That’s a substantial portion of his 18 career regular season interceptions.
Tyrod Taylor throws a nice deep ball and the Bills know it, so expect Taylor to let it rip in McCourty’s direction throughout the night. McCourty will answer the call, reminding the NFL why he was the most sought-after safety during free agency this offseason.
Next: 2. Karlos Williams will score all of Bills’ TDs
