Right now, the New England Patriots could fill a hospital ward with their injury report. Julian Edelman just had foot surgery on a broken foot that will most likely keep him out until the postseason; Dion Lewis is stowed away on the injured reserve; the offensive line has been starving for depth at tackle with Sebastian Vollmer and Marcus Cannon out.

For the Patriots, this injury bug is going from bad to worse. In a time like this, however, it’s important to take Edelman’s words to heart:

With that in mind, let’s put the injuries to Edelman, Lewis and all the others to rest and focus on the healthy players. Here are four players that need to step-up right now if the Patriots are going to stay undefeated.
