Cincinnati Bengals. 2. player. 56. <p>Despite losing a good old fashioned defensive battle last night, the Bengals still come-in at No. 2 in this week’s AFC power rankings. If the Broncos hadn’t started self-destructing, it would be an easy choice to bump the Bengals down a notch, but since that’s not the case, the Bengals stay put behind the Pats.</p> <p>Well, it was fun while it lasted. The Bengals’ offense looked far from that of an undefeated team against the Texans, struggling to get much of anything going, let alone a touchdown. Pictured above is one of Tyler Eifert’s numerous drops, and one could say without sounding unreasonable that Eifert’s butterfingers were the difference in this game. When the Bengals badly needed to pick-up a first down, Eifert wasn’t playing like the league-leader in touchdown receptions, and it cost the cats.</p><div class=. AFC North. 8-1

One of the perks of being undefeated through the first half of the season, however, is that a loss in mid-November doesn’t hurt playoff chances. Especially not in this year’s AFC landscape, as the Bengals have plenty of difference between themselves and the Steelers.
