Patriots vs. Giants: 6 Bold Predictions
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
1. Jamie Collins will have monster game
Although he wasn’t spotted at Wednesday’s practice, Collins should shake-off his sickness and be ready to play on Sunday. The third-year pro will make up for the lost time by leading the Patriots in tackles and notching a pair of sacks, a forced fumble, a pick-six and a field goal block. Collins will do it all on Sunday.
Important: Patriots release latest practice report
Already a frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year, Collins will strengthen his candidacy with this unreal stat line. He will be the story of the game.
The forces of Collins and Butler along with the stout run defense will make it very difficult for the Giants’ offense to get much going in this game. On the other side of the ball, the emergence of White in the passing game and the continued resurgence of LaFell will help the Pats put points on the board.
Like it was against the Indianapolis Colts several weeks back, Collins’ field goal block will put the exclamation mark on another large-margin victory for the Pats.
