AFC West. 7-1. Denver Broncos. 3. player. 45.
Falling back down to earth in Week 9 were the Broncos, who didn’t deserve to win that game after Aqib Talib’s short-sighted eye poke of Dwayne Allen that allowed the Colts to milk the clock. As a whole, the Broncos’ defense underperformed relative to their standard, and since this team is built upon that outstanding defense, it cost them.

With 13 of them sticking out on his stat line, Peyton Manning leads all quarterbacks in interceptions. That’s a problem. C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman didn’t help Manning out that much in Week 9, rushing for just 35 yards on 14 carries between the two of them.

Encounters with the still-undefeated Patriots and Bengals loom in the distance.

Next: 2. Cincinnati Bengals
