The ninth Monday of the NFL season has come and gone, which means it’s time for an updated AFC power rankings. Because Musket Fire is a New England Patriots site, we like to focus on just one conference every Monday morning. Here are your Week 10 AFC power rankings:

2-7. Cleveland Browns. 16. player. 53.
Dropped passes plagued Johnny Manziel on Thursday Night Football last week, and it’s a shame, because he was slinging. But it doesn’t matter how well the quarterback plays, as this Browns team is absolutely terrible when it comes to the run. They are rushing for just 82.3 yards each game, which ranks second-worst behind the Detroit Lions. Defending the run, the Browns are far and away the worst unit in the league, surrendering 147.6 big ones every week.

In Week 10, the Browns embark on their second of four consecutive divisional games when they travel to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. After that, it’s the beginning of a three-game home stand, starting with encounters against the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. If by some stroke of luck the Browns win all three of those games, they will be back in the AFC wild card race, but that’s pretty unlikely. For now, they reside in the cellar of the AFC.
.
