2. Brady won’t be sacked

The Patriots’ injury issues on the offensive line have been well-documented. With Nate Solder out for the season and Marcus Cannon out of practice this week, there is cause for concern as to who will protect Brady’s blind spot. But fans shouldn’t stress out too much about that this week (knock on wood, of course).

The Redskins’ pass rush has underperformed this season, getting to opposing quarterbacks just 13 times in seven games, the seventh-fewest total in the league up to this point. Chris Baker and Ryan Kerrigan are tied for the team lead with 3.5 sacks each, so those will be the guys the Pats will have to keep the most attention on.

Injury updates: Julian Edelman has minor foot injury, not serious

Remember, the Patriots have navigated through the past two weeks against two of the best pass rushes in the league, the Jets and the Miami Dolphins. While no NFL pass rush should be taken for a joke, the Redskins don’t present nearly as much of a threat as the Pats’ divisional foes.

Combine the impressive play of the offensive line considering their Band-Aid status with Brady’s newfound mobility in the pocket, and the Patriots should record a clean sheet on the sack front this week.
