3-5. Kansas City Chiefs. 9. player. 124.
Winners of two straight, the Chiefs are salvaging a season that began with a win and followed with five consecutive losses. A streaky team if there ever was one, the Chiefs plugged four rushing touchdowns in London yesterday; Charcandrick West, Alex Smith, Spencer Ware and De’Anthony Thomas all reached the end zone via the ground attack. Smith, in particular, turned head with 78 yards rushing on several impressive scrambles.

If you’re a Chiefs fan, you also liked seeing Justin Houston play lights-out on Sunday. Houston notched not only 1.5 sacks, but also an interception, a rare feat for a defensive lineman. Houston will need to have similarly outstanding performances in the next few weeks, as the Chiefs hit the road to face the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers. Victories over those divisional rivals would skyrocket the Chiefs up these AFC power rankings.
. AFC West
