As a result of spanking the Miami Dolphins 36-7 on Thursday Night Football, the New England Patriots can relax, put their feet up and have a piece of mid-fall apple pie on Sunday. One of the few upsides of playing the wacky Thursday night game is the mini-bye week that follows; the Pats are in the midst of a ten-day break from action, a lull that this injury-riddled team needs badly.

For Patriots fans, however, that means the complexion of Sunday changes. While there’s a chance that the yardwork will finally get done, it’s more likely that you will be watching other NFL games tomorrow. With that in mind, here is your Musket Fire prediction of the upcoming action.

Detroit Lions (1-6) (@ Kansas City Chiefs (2-5) – 9:30 A.M. EST

The NFL’s London experiment continues with another unexciting matchup between losing teams, and they are very similar in several respects. Firstly, the Lions and Chiefs are averaging the same amount of total yards per game (346). Additionally, both the Lions and the Chiefs are in the cellars of their respective divisions. The winner of this game will keep their dim Wild Card hopes alive.

Prediction: Chiefs 22, Lions 17
