AFC East. 4-2. New York Jets. 4. player. 30.
The Jets maintain their standing at No. 4 despite losing in Week 7 because they gave the undefeated Patriots just about all they could handle yesterday. The three unbeatens are all better than the Jets, but no team with a loss should be pegged above the Jets.

It was a messy game in Foxboro yesterday afternoon, that’s for sure. Brandon Marshall’s drop in the end zone and the inability of Chris Ivory and Zac Stacy to total more than 60 yards on the ground can be viewed as two main reasons why the Jets weren’t able to take hold of the AFC East (a win would have given them the divisional lead).

A trip west to Oakland precedes a two-game homestand against the Jaguars and Bills.

Next: 3. Denver Broncos
