3. Jamie Collins will block a field goal and return it for a touchdown

As we all saw on Sunday Night Football in Week 6 when he leapt over the Colts’ offensive line to block a garbage-time extra point, Collins possesses scary athleticism. We’re going to see more of it tonight.

At some point in this game, Collins will pull-off a special teams triple play by blocking a long field goal attempt (longer field goals require more power, making for a lower path of flight), scooping up the loose ball and returning it for a touchdown. You may remember Chandler Jones doing this same thing in Week 2 last season against the Minnesota Vikings.

In addition to this highlight reel play, Collins will continue the stellar play on defense that has him directly in the center of Defensive Player of the Year conversations. He is currently leads the Patriots in total tackles (49), tackles for loss (3) and fumbles forced (3).

You won’t find a bigger fan of Collins than this writer. If J.J. Watt continues to not live up to his billing, then the Defensive Player of the Year trophy must find its way onto Collins’ bureau.
