3-3. Oakland Raiders. 6. player. 28.
Making their highest appearance yet this year are the explosive Raiders, who have finally found a way to put points on the board. Threw new additions were on the receiving end of Derek Carr’s three touchdown passes in Week 8: rookie tight end Clive Walford, rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper and veteran free agent signing Michael Crabtree.

On the other side of the ball, the Raiders were able to do just enough to prevent the Chargers from charging all the way back in the second half. Interceptions by D.J. Hayden and Malcolm Smith were probably the difference in this game.

In the next two weeks, the Raiders face the Jets and Steelers, two teams that the Raiders will be jostling with for wild card position from here on out. Winning both of those games isn’t out of the question for this team; the Raiders could very well be 5-3 with tiebreaker advantages over New York and Pittsburgh by the mid-way mark.
. AFC West
