Predicting NFL Week Seven Games
By Cyrus Geller
Here are my week seven NFL picks.
Patriots 30 Jets 20
I think this one is going to be a close divisional battle, as the Jets defense will come to play. However Tom Brady is playing too well, and he has too many weapons for New England to lose this game at home.
Bills 27 Jaguars 14
Buffalo has hit a rough patch lately, but they will get back on track in London.
Redskins 20 Buccaneers 19
This one will be a battle of the defenses, and whichever quarterback can turn the ball over less will get the win. I think it will be Kirk Cousins.
Falcons 31 Titans 17
Atlanta didn’t look good at all against New Orleans last week, but this is a good football team, and they will be in playoff contention throughout this entire season.
Saints 27 Colts 24
Are the Saints finding their stride? Probably not, but the Colts suck, and after their special-teams fiasco last week, there may be a bit of dissension between players and coaches going forward..
Vikings 23 Lions 10
Minnesota has sneakily been a very good team through six weeks, and they will get a pretty easy divisional win over Detroit tomorrow.
Steelers 24 Chiefs 14
The Steelers are fighting to stay afloat while Big Ben is sidelined, and I think they get another win chalked up against a Chiefs team that is spiraling out of control. Le’Veon Bell has a big game to lead Pittsburgh.
Browns 21 Rams 20
Cleveland did everything in their power to lose last week’s game against the Broncos, even though they outplayed them for over four quarters. This week they finish the deal.
Texans 27 Dolphins 24
Both of these teams stink, but I’ll go with Houston by a field goal.
Chargers 30 Raiders 27
San Diego was inches away from stealing a win over Green Bay in Wisconsin last week, and I think they ride Phillip Rivers’ hot hand to a bounceback win over Oakland.
Cowboys 24 Giants 20
This will be a close one, although you might see a lot of bad football. Eli Manning throws three picks.
Panthers 23 Eagles 17
Are the Panthers the surprise of the NFL through six weeks? They just might be, and they keep it rolling with a tight victory over the Eagles on Sunday night.
Cardinals 35 Ravens 17
The Ravens suck, and the Cardinals are division leaders. This could get ugly.
