1. Patriots will shut-out Jets in second half

The Patriots may be undefeated, and that’s all well and good, but if you look at the final scores, they haven’t been dominating games as much as everyone says. In fact, three of the Pats’ five wins have been decided by one possession.

Especially after surrendering a garbage-time touchdown to the Colts last week, the Patriots will be looking to put an exclamation mark on their Week 7 win.

A stalemate first quarter will give way to a high-scoring second quarter for both teams, but then the Patriots will buckle down and assert themselves. The away game in East Rutherford, New Jersey later in the season will be a different story, but the Pats will dispatch the Jets entirely in the second half of this game.

This isn’t to say that this game will be a walk in the park by any means, but the Patriots are going to keep their foot firmly on the gas pedal for the entire second half, more so than they did against the Colts.
