3. Pats’ secondary will have a field day
Looking at Ryan Fitzpatrick’s stats so far this season, one thing is clear: the Harvard man can’t go a game without throwing a pick. In each of the Jets’ five games, Fitzpatrick has tossed at least one interception. Fitzy’s worst performance of the year came in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles when he threw three picks.

Throughout his career, Fitzpatrick has been an extremely up-and-down quarterback. He either has a great game or a really bad one. Thinking along those lines, Fitzpatrick is about due for a poor outing, and the Patriots’ secondary presents enough of a ball hawking threat to take advantage of an off-day from the veteran passer.
Since making that jaw-dropping tip-drill pick in Week 2 against the Bills, Malcolm Butler hasn’t come up with a pick, although he was perilously close to getting his mitts on the ball multiple times last week. He’ll nab one of Fitzpatrick’s errant throws.
Jamie Collins is another guy who will record an interception on Sunday. An interception is pretty much the only thing not on Collins’ stat sheet thus far.
Last but not least, Devin McCourty will notch his second pick of the season, and it will be his first career pick-six. The sixth-year veteran is still looking for his first career touchdown.
