AFC Power Rankings: MNF Update
Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports
Somehow, the Bengals managed to stay undefeated on Sunday, clawing back from 17 points down against the NFC’s best team over the past two years. The Bengals looked like a very well-practiced team when the field goal unit rushed into position just in the nick of time to boot the tying field goal that forced overtime and eventually led to the victory.
A guy who really factored into this game was Adam Jones. A sack, interception and 35-yard punt return isn’t a bad day at the office for a veteran cornerback by any means. That tip-drill pick stopped the Seahawks in the red zone, and it was arguably the difference in the game because it prevented the Seahawks from widening the gap out of reach.
