AFC Power Rankings: Patriots lead the way into Week 5

Resuming their post atop these AFC power rankings, and the NFL entirely, are the bye week Pats. Even though they didn’t play in Week 4, the Patriots are still the best team in the conference, as the Broncos rely too heavily on their defense to win and the Bengals are definitely a tier below despite their undefeated record.
From the couch, the Pats watched the Bills and Dolphins lose in convincing fashion while the Jets cruised to a win across the pond. Without a doubt, Todd Bowles’ team is the biggest threat to the Patriots’ run of AFC East dominance as it stands right now.
For now, it’s on to Dallas.
