NFL Week 4: Score Predictions
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports
Eagles over Redskins, 25-13.
Hurricane Joaquin won’t stop this game from being played as planned, although Kirk Cousins might soon wish it had. The Eagles’ secondary will be the deciding factor in this one, intercepting three passes en route to the victory.
Sunday will also mark Nelson Agholor’s breakout game. The Eagles’ top pick has only caught four passes for 36 yards up to this point; expect that to change as Sam Bradford plays more comfortably in his fourth game as the starter.
Browns over Chargers, 32-21.
So far this season, the Browns have been very up-and-down. Or should I say, down-and-up-and-down. Considering that pattern, I’m picking the Browns to even their record to .500 against the slumping Chargers.
This game pits two of the NFL’s worst run defenses, so expect both teams’ ground games to flourish. A big game out of Isaiah Crowell will power the Browns to 2-2, and send the Chargers into 1-3 oblivion.
A quick note on the Chargers: they look like the worst team in the AFC West right now. The Vikings beat them fair and square and then some in Week 3, and I don’t see them recovering from that loss just yet.
