NFL power rankings Week 3: comparing with Elliot Harrison
Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports
Julio Jones is out of this world. That acrobatic, interception-saving grab he made is easily the best catch of the season thus far (although Danny Amendola’s twisting catch on Sunday rivals it). And then there’s Leonard Hankerson, who has finally found his NFL home after a few rocky years in Washington. He turned six catches into 77 yards against the Giants.
We’ll really have an idea of the substance of this team after next week’s showdown in Dallas. The Falcons should be able to take advantage of a Romo-less Cowboys team and take hold of the NFC South lead.

Atlanta Falcons
NFC South, 2-0
Harrison: 10
Overcoming a ten-point deficit late in the game rocketed the Falcons up NFL power rankings across the web. Harrison and I pretty much agree about where the Falcons currently reside in the NFL landscape.
