NFL power rankings: preseason Week 3

NFC South. Last week: 14. Carolina Panthers. 15. player. 87. <p>After watching Kelvin Benjamin go down for the season, it wasn’t very encouraging for the Panthers when Jonathan Stewart and Corey Brown both dropped easy balls against the Dolphins. Just when the Carolina receiving corps looked like it had recovered from the Great Wide Receiver Exodus of 2014, Benjamin got hurt and no one stepped up to the plate in his absence.</p> <p>Fortunately for the Panthers, no team is really stepping up to the plate in the NFC South. The Buccaneers are in the cellar of the NFL, the Falcons aren’t doing much and the Saints are a surmountable roadblock.</p>
