Fantasy Football 2015: Examining New England Patriots Players At Each Position

Just named the 10th best player in football by NFL Network, Gronkowski’s merry-go-round offseason will culminate by him being drafted in the top five by a bunch of fantasy football players. As he should be.
Simply put, Gronkowski is the most dangerous receiver in football. No pass catcher keeps defensive coordinators up at night quite as much as Gronk does, and that makes him the most valuable fantasy football player on the Patriots’ roster right now.
Barring injury, there is no reason to think that Gronkowski won’t continue to take the NFL by storm in 2015.
If you aren’t lucky enough to be drafting when Gronkowski is still on the board, then mull over drafting Chandler. At 6-foot-7, Chandler actually stands above Gronk, and that will translate to monstrous red zone success.
With opposing defenses so focused on Gronkowski, Chandler will have a bunch of opportunities in one-on-one matchups against linebackers. As an owner of Chandler, you would reap the benefits of that situation week in and week out.
That the Patriots released Tim Wright and Fred Davis earlier this summer shows just how confident they are in Chandler making full use of the opportunity before him as Gronk’s side kick.
