5. Punishment

Should Tom Brady be punished? To me, as I said, there is no evidence to suggest he gave the order to deflate those footballs, so no, he shouldn’t be punished. If we live in a society where people are punished with no evidence supporting that claim, then I think we have failed as a world.

However with that said, the NFL isn’t a normal place. It is run by morons that have no idea how to do anything, especially when it comes to being fair to the Patriots. So with that in mind, yes, we can probably expect a punishment coming down in the coming days. Will it involve just the two equipment guys, or will Tom Brady be involved as well? Only time will tell, but I will give this warning to the commissioner: Brady is going to be more pissed off than he ever was this year. He is going to make 2007 look like a struggle. But if you suspend him, even for one game, you might as well forfeit the Super Bowl trophy right now.

It will get scary.
