2. Defending Tom Brady

Did Tom Brady hit his wife? Did Tom Brady take steroids? Did Tom Brady cheat a urine test? Did Tom Brady break any laws? Did Tom Brady fix a game? Did Tom Brady drive drunk?

No.

Tom Brady “might have generally known about” taking the air out of a football. Nobody can prove he did these things, but even if he did, it shouldn’t even matter. Not only would the Patriots have won that game by 38 regardless of how inflated the footballs were, but Brady played better in the second half, WHEN THE FOOTBALLS WERE RE-INFLATED.

But in the minds of some brilliant analysts, this controversy should call for a Brady suspension, and it should tarnish his brilliant career forever. I just can’t comprehend how stupid people can be sometimes, and in cases like this, it just confirms that belief.

You can tell when someone is going to blindly bash Brady and the Pats: those that can’t beat New England will whine, and that is exactly what the Ravens, Colts, Jets, and Broncos fans are doing.
