Round 4, 111st Overall: G Tre’ Jackson

Roster chances: 9.6/10

Put Jackson next to Brown as the Patriots’ biggest thefts in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Florida State guard was not supposed to last into the fourth round. It was very prudent of the Patriots to pluck him from the field of available players and provide added security for Tom Brady.

Jackson won’t have to sweat about his roster status very much. The success of fellow Seminole alum Bryan Stork in his rookie year indicates that Florida State prepares their offensive lineman very well for the NFL. Furthermore, the Patriots need beef on the interior of the offensive line, especially considering that Dan Connolly appears to have played his last snap with the Patriots.

Jordan Devey is all that stands in the way of Jackson and the starting left guard position. A strong summer should culminate in Jackson lining up next to Stork against the Pittsburgh Steelers on opening night.
