Round One

47. Call me a homer, but I firmly believe this was not only the steal of the first round, but it was the steal of the entire draft. Like so many others, I had Brown getting picked in the top 15, and at the very worst, the top 20. He was one of the most talented overall players in this class, and I was beyond shocked when I saw him slip all the way down to the 32. Now, the Patriots get a player that is stout in the run game like a Vince Wilfork, but he is also effective in the passing game, as his ability to penetrate and push the pocket from the interior will be huge for this defense. I look forward to years of Dominique Easley and Malcom Brown dominating the middle for Bill Belichick’s defense.. DT. Texas. Malcom Brown. A+. player
