3. The Pats Will Draft Three Defensive Lineman

Getting bigger, better, and deeper in the trenches should be priority number one for the Patriots in this draft, and I think they will do just that next week. I don’t know when, or where they will get these defensive lineman, but I believe when it is all said and done, New England will have selected three defensive lineman in the draft.

Maybe they’ll snag a high-profile guy early, then load up on some low risk, high reward guys late, or they might just balance it out throughout all seven rounds. Either way, Bill Belichick knows that there are a lot of good players in the trenches in this class, and his team needs to get better in that area if they want to defend their title.

I personally like Iowa’s Carl Davis, and he will surely be available in the second round. He is inconsistent, but if he can put the entire package together, the combination of him and Dominique Easley in the middle will be terrifying.
